Heart & Mind School Consulting is an Arizona-based parent guidance service that supports families as they navigate school choice for their young children. Founded by a teacher, school administrator, and mom, the work is centered on helping parents make thoughtful, informed decisions grounded in their child's needs and their family's values.
Meet Shannon
I'm Shannon — an educator, school leader, and mom — and I created Heart & Mind because I've seen this process from both sides of the table.
As a teacher and administrator, I watched families walk into school choice feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and unsure who to trust. As a mom, I experienced firsthand how much it matters to have a knowledgeable, steady guide during big decisions for your child.
There are more school options in Arizona than most families realize — and more opinions, too. What's often missing is a trusted space to slow down, reflect on what your child actually needs, and move forward with clarity and confidence. That's exactly what Heart & Mind was created to offer.

• Ongoing Monthly Email Support — $100/month For families navigating a longer search who want a consistent point of contact as questions and new information come up. Email support with responses within 72 hours.
• Tour Ready Consultation — $225 A 60-minute virtual appointment you can schedule anytime during your search — ideal for prepping before tours and talking through your school list with intention.
• Decision Support Consultation — $250 A 60-minute virtual appointment to make sense of everything you've experienced and land on the decision that's right for your family.
