After you book, you'll receive the Heart & Mind Pre-Consultation Questionnaire. It's a thoughtful set of questions that helps you start reflecting on your child and your family before we meet, so our time together is focused, meaningful, and truly tailored to you.
There are no right or wrong answers. It's simply an invitation to slow down and put words to what you've already been noticing about your child. It covers your child's personality, learning style, and developmental profile, along with your family's values, priorities, and what you're hoping to walk away with. Most families finish it in 20 to 30 minutes, and it makes our session significantly more productive.
After We Meet: Ongoing Support When You Want It
Completing your consultation makes you an official Heart & Mind existing client and opens the door to continued support, from post-consultation email guidance to tour prep, decision debriefs, and monthly ongoing access. Every package is designed exclusively for families who have completed a one-on-one consultation, so you're never left to navigate the next step alone.

Will you tell me which schools are the best?
No, and that's intentional. The best school isn't the same for every child or family. Rather than handing you a list, this session gives you the tools, framework, and confidence to evaluate schools through your own family's lens and make a decision that truly fits.
Do I need to take the Family Workshop first?
Not at all. The consultation stands completely on its own. It mirrors the workshop content, but everything is explained and applied to your family in real time, with no prep or prior coursework required.
Is this virtual or in person?
Every consultation is virtual, so it's easy to connect from wherever you are.
What if my child has additional needs?
Many of the families I work with are navigating school choice for a child with a diagnosis, developmental difference, or additional support needs, and this session is well suited for that. We can talk through inclusion models, IEP considerations, what to look for in a school environment, and how to advocate effectively throughout the search.
What if we're already mid-search?
That's a great time to connect. We can use the session to sharpen your lens, talk through what you've already seen, make sense of your tour impressions, and prioritize your next steps. You don't have to be at the beginning to benefit.
Do you work with families outside Arizona?
